Installed a sapphire caseback on my vintage Speedy. If you attempt this, remember to get the movement retainer ring for the sapphire back which is taller than the standard movement ring. You have to remove the movement from the case to install it, but there are instructions online in disassembling a Speedmaster movement: http://watchtalkforums.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=omega&action=display&thread=9063
